The R14 allows for that fresh, new look after cleaning. The rake lifts and loosens dirt in deep pile before cleaning and restores the pile after cleaning. Without vacuuming, the R14 keeps your carpet luxuriously shaggy.
Specially formulated polymer for the perfect amount of flexibility and rigidity in the teeth allows the natural look and feel of shag to come back to life. The teeth on this comb are rounded, which prevents snagging or catching on long fibers. The wood block is water-resistant and shellacked, stapled and built for a professional and durable job. Designed for extra deep plush shag and long pile, R14 features a built-in bumper for protection of walls and furniture.
This carpet comb is specific for shag and high pile. Check out the R12 for your general, shorter pile needs.
Handles are sold separately. We recommend our D handle, though any standard threaded handle will do. This brush is water-resistant! The inception of this brush came from carpet cleaning professionals approaching us, seeking a tool to clean long pile that was rising to popularity. With our creation, we have brought professional care and maintenance to homes for decades now. This brush works in pull motion, not push. Please store the brush gently on the wood block, so as not to place pressure on the teeth that could wear and bend the material over time.
