Trouble removing excess water from dampened and soaked carpet dissolves away with the R18 squeegee. With a stiff, rigid, high-density polyethylene blade, the R18 effectively glides through textured pile—pushing water out. The 18-inch-long blade is ⅜-inch thick and shaped to a pointed edge for precision and efficiency. The blade is secured to an aluminum bracket with galvanized steel screws that make the squeegee light in weight, sturdy in build. The blade is replaceable, if ever needed.
Handles are sold separately; this squeegee accommodates a standard threaded handle. Braun’s selection of threaded handles is the D and F handle.
The R18 is specific for carpet and rugs—the hardness of the blade rides through pile without damaging the fibers and essential weaving of carpet. Consider our other squeegees comprised of softer material, rubber, to use on surfaces such as tile, painted concrete and epoxy flooring.
